This year we are trying something completely different!

In order to make the Championships a two day event, we propose to combine the Open meeting hosted by Alexandra Yacht Club, at Southend, on Saturday 12 June with the Open meeting to be hosted by Dabchicks Sailing Club, West Mersea, Essex on Sunday 13 June.

Three races to be sailed at each venue, back to back, due to tide restrictions, with the best five results to count for the Area Trophy.

These two individual Open events will count separately towards the Nimbus Series Trophy, with the best two results on each day counting for that Open event.
