First Enterprise and second overall Etherow CPSC tack for the finish in the more benign conditions at the end of the race.

32 teams took part in the 25th Junior 12 Hour Race at Southport SC on 25th of June. Despite the generally strong wind and handicap favouring GPs, Etherow Country Park SC came  second overall with West Lancs YC 'A' in third place overall. Etherow also took the Rogerson Trophy for the fastest first two laps with West Lancs taking the  Mc Donald Ladies Trophy. Leigh and Lowton were the third Enterprise in 8th place and also took the Trophy for the fastest lap by an under 14 helm.

Chester (white) 10th overall were the fist under 18 Enterprise team , with Rudyard Lake SC in second and Chester Green third.
